Kick ass Asian Girl Groups

In no particular order

Jewelry-Everybody Shh!(korean)
Pay close attention to 3:20. Damn Flexible!

CSJH-The Grace(aka Tenjo Chiki, TSZX, etc......)-Piranha (Japanese Ver.)
These girls are hottttt. Literally, dripping wet with sweat. Anyways, the dance routine in this music video is nothing but fire.

You know I had to put this next group in
Perfume-Ceramic Girl (Japanese)

I'm still going crazy for Kashiyuka. Kawaii! I gots the hots for Nocchi san too! Woo!

So what cha think? Kick ass asian girls right? I really want to see these girls perform live. They definitely got the talent as well as the looks. Sexy sexy!

On another note, you're boy Bento Beat Boxer is graduating on May 23rd! One more week to go then I'm finally done with school. If you're wondering, I'll be graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Graphic Design. My plans after graduation are to take a month vacation. I'll be in Japan during June through July. I'll be staying with my girlfriend and her parents house. It's going to be great. I can't wait. Waku waku desu! This time I'll have a digital camera with me so I can take pics. Last time I brought an analog camera and well, taking pictures was a little difficult. Even so I caught some nice glimpses in Japan. Here's a pic from Mt. Aso and Kawasuigen.

Enjoy everyone. It's time for me to go. Take care. I'll report to you before graduation. Peace peoples!

Sigh, kawaii...

Ok, I had to throw this vid of Kashiyuka in here because she is just so damn cute. It's a very pointless video, but man sooo cute.

Gomen, I just can't get enough of Perfume

Damn, thank you bbbghq for uploading this hi-res vid of Perfume's song "Macaroni." Why is it called that? Don't ask me why. I don't know, but it sure hell sounds like a good song...even though they lip synced it. Believe it or not, your boy Bentobeatboxer has this track on loop in iTunes. Yupperz! Enjoy!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kashiyuka looks so cute. Freakin' kawaii! The girls dance moves in this performance is just so cute too. Totally gay right? Who cares. I'm loving their music. Enjoy everyone.

Perfume smells like Okonomiyaki

OMG! I love Perfume even more after watching this video. Here are the girls cooking my favorite Japanese dish "Okonomiyaki! (お好み焼き)" Yaaah! おいしい!!! This video actually promotes Perfume's new album "Game." I recently bought the album and damn its hot stuff. I suggest you pick it up and give it a listen.

I love it!!! A-chan said she always puts cheese on her okonomiyaki. Interesting, I have to try that next time. Yummmm! Ok, a couple things about the interview:

1. Kashiyuka is so cute
2. I want to touch Nocchi's legs
3. A-chan is such a comedian

Yeh, I'm a nerd. Whatever. Nerds got style yo. So don't hate. Anyways, enjoy the vid.

Rien n'avance

Ladies and gentlemen, the mic has been burnt to a crisp. French Hip Hop duo Indelebile's song "Rien n'avance" featuring Medis is hot!  These guys are no Bakar or Supa Saian Crew, but they got skills and style. I'm feeling it.

Indelebile-Rien n'avance (No advance-translated by worldlingo.com)
The French language was really made for rapping, although at times it sounds like they are salivating out the mouth when they bust a rhyme. Even so, I love french hip hop. Much respect!

Here's some more emcees I respect.
Féfé and Leeroy (Supa Saian Crew) featuring Idir-Je viens de là où l'on m'aime (I go where I'm loved)

Enjoy everyone. Au Revoir!

*AH Man I had to add this one in. This vid shows how Kreva gets down on the MPC drum/sampler.

Umin dancing for Uniqlo!!!

If you are not in the know, you got to get up to speed with these guys. This group is called UMin and they are one of the most creative japanese dancers I've seen. They're movements are intricate, animated, and detailed. I'm amazed with their routines in how they sync their movements to the beat. These guys made their American Debut on Missy Elliots video "Ching-a-ling. Check out their routine they did for the Japanese clothing store Uniqlo. Damn thats hot!

In case you haven't seen the vid yet. Here's Missy's Vid where they made their American debut.

*Here's a bonus video for you.
Juan (now known as Yuko Ishida)-Call Me Back Boy

Taking a moment to chillax

5weeks of school left! Holy crap I can't believe it! I'm excited. I have to keep my momentum strong through these last few weeks. It's been hard to do so but I'm taking it day by day to stay focused and on schedule for these last weeks. Wish me luck.

With all this work, I needed to take a break. I found Perfume's new video "Secret Secret," uploaded by Izuya911 on YouTube. Arigatou! <(^¿^)>

PERFUME-SECRET SECRET

I'm feeling this track. The girls are really cute in this video. I like their dance moves-quirky and robotic. Also, Kashiyuka and Nocchi is looking quite kawaii. I think I'll be picking up their album in the near future. Ok time to go back to work. Peace y'all!

Thursday Night Highlights

Tonight's video highlights capture both emotion and visual stimulation. I'm not talking about masturbating while watching a porno. If that's your thing than go for it. haha! I'm talking about songs that strike emotion and are created to highly visually appealing videos. Capturing a beautiful song and translating that into something visually is a hard thing to do. These videos I felt captured the essence of the song. Without further adieu, here are the videos of tonight! Enjoy!

You stink. Here's some Perfume!

Let me introduce to you another japanese girl group, Perfume. This group consists of 3 girls whose names are Kashiyuka, A-chan, and Nocchi. They are a japanese techno pop trio that, well, has captured my heart with their kawaii digitized voices and wowed me with their innovative videos. Their style of singing is very cute and fun. Even in their live performances they still maintain their digitized voices. You know, I'm a sucker for techno music. I've made some techno music back in the day. Here's a little secret no one knows, but I will share with you know. I'm a big techno fan! Ya dig?! Anyways, their music is pretty hot. I'm digging it. I hope you will too.

Monkey's got Majik

Here's the new video from the Canadian brothers Monkey Majik. Their new music video Together is a feel good comfort song. Definitely, another Monkey Majik hit. If you haven't heard of these guys yet, be sure to check out their earlier tracks. For some gaijin(foreigners) they sing and speak Japanese very well. Please enjoy "Together."

Bright

Here's a group that I'm falling for. The group is called BRIGHT. They are a 4girl Japanese Rnb Gospel group that has the most angelic voices by far in Japan. The group consists of:

and my personal favorite...
It's been a while since I've heard a Japanese girl group who harmonizes perfectly. They are still quite young, but I'm sure with time they can really hone in their vocal talents. Take a listen to Bright. They'll surely win you over with their graceful voices.

Let's start with their new video

Sora Iro

Here's a little preview from their first single w/acapella.

Their first single-Brightest Star

These girls are phenomenal right!? Kawaii too! I can't wait for their album to come out. I'll be on the look out for it. Alright everyone have a wonderful weekend and stay genki!

ABDC VERDICT...

The final show was something to remember. America's Best Dance crew brought out all of the contestants from the competition in a collaborative dance montage. The west coast versus the midwest versus the east coast. I'll be a little biased because I'm the bay area, CA, but the west coast crews tore it up. Kabba Modern, Jabbawockies, and Fysh n Chicks...man....Nothing but Fire!

Now, the verdict...
JABBAWOCKIES
VS.

STATUS QUO
both crews gave it there all, but there can only be one winner.
and the winner is...

JABBAWOCKIES!!!!!!
JABBAWOCKIES!!!!!!
JABBAWOCKIES!!!!!!
and if you missed it, here's the video. enjoy!

3/25/2008

Time is closing in. Vote Jabbawockees!!!

Thursday is the deadline! Click on the link below to vote for them!

If you haven't heard of these guys then you must be living under a rock. Jabbawockies is bar none, the best dance crew in America so far. I'm proud to represent these guys because they show that asians and pacific islanders can rock the dance floor like no other. These guys are featured on Randy Jackson's Americas Best Dance Crew competition. By far, no one can touch them. They are going up against the Group Status Quo. Granted these guys have skill too, but they don't have the passion and movements like Jabbawockies. Check out these vids from the show. If you like what you see VOTE Jabbawockies!!!

What Language do you speak?

Today, I wanted to celebrate the language world. I'm intrigued by non native speakers speaking another language. There's just something about a foreigner speaking another language that seems inspirational. If you're one of those people wanting to learn different languages these video's may inspire you to keep studying. Check them out.

Graduation...Healing relations...Starting anew

I just bought my cap and gown today. I'm excited that graduation is near. 3 more months to go and well, GRADUATION!!! My teachers have pushed me to the limit. I'm glad that they are. They showed me that I am capable of things I thought I could never do. For that I am thankful. The journey is not yet over though, I still have to pass my classes! As long as I stay inspired and have good friends and family around to support me then I'm fine. It took me 8years( Long right?! haha!) to graduate college but, I'm glad I'm finally here to make my parents proud.

Last night, I took a look at the blog I originally started with:

youropiniondoesntcount.blogspot.com.

I told myself that would never go back there. You see, I wrote a post on "How to get a girl." The way I wrote it offended some good friends which, I never meant to do. But somehow things got a little sour and that was the end of me on that blog. I haven't spoken to them in more than a year. There were other events that lead to this, but I don't want to get too much in detail. I realize that I'm not a perfect person and I'm capable of making mistakes and stupid decisions. I just wanted to take this time to apologize for all the harm and disrespect that I've done to certain folks on that blog. What I did was stupid. I know this now. I was just a naive self absorbed person trying to get his 10 seconds of fame. I don't have anything against these guys. In fact, my love for Japanese music was influenced by TsujiEriku. This man, introduced me to the pop side of Japanese music. I'm not going to lie, I used to love listening to Morning Musume, Berryz, etc etc but eventually I just grew out of that genre of music. I began looking for Western influenced Japanese Music. Anyways, I just wanted to tell him, whether he likes me as a friend or not, I respect him and I regret for the events that lead to this sour friendship. These guys at youropiniondoesntcount are crazy odd and interesting and that's what makes them unique. In all respect, I hope they all will live happy lives. Even if I don't see them again, I will continue to wish them a genki life.

You're probably asking, why...why are you telling us this? Good question. I believe as a person, I've grown. For the things I didn't understand before, I understand them now. I'm constantly educating myself. Day by day, I'm trying to become a better person to live a righteous life of peace and prosperity. That's all I want in life. I want to start anew and make sure that I won't repeat the same mistakes.

In dedication to where I started my love with Japanese music, here's the video that eriku showed me that started it all. Enjoy everyone!

Morning Musume-Do! it now
everyone, have a blessed day. Peace.
