For Graphic Designers! LET'S BATTLE!

Are you a designer who thinks he/she got skills? Well put your skills to the test. www.cutandpaste.com is throwing a unique event that puts designers on the spotlight in a no holds barred design battle! This is a real event that's going down in San Francisco on September 29, but you have until July 17 to enter. Don't miss out on this oppurtunity. Here's a clip from the site to get you started on what the hell this Design battle is about.

Hey, the bearded black dude from The Brooklyn Circus was in the intro! Haha! Cool! I swear this has got to be one of the most interesting battles I've seen. It's very unique and off the wall because you can see the designers process in action. Superb stuff! Don't miss out on this event!

More CSJH! Crystal Kay too!

CSJH to me is a very phenomenal asian girl group. They always come with it in every performance they do. Not only are they sexy, but they deliver on talent. There are not enough words to describe the talent these girls have. Here's a couple of vids of their performances.

Crystal Kay has been one of my favorite artists coming out from Japan for quite some time. It's always a joy to hear voice. Here's CK performing her song

More FLASH toons!

This weekend I've been spending a lot of time on Newgrounds.com. This site is great for those who like cartoons made from Macromedia....eeerrrr...I mean Adobe Flash. These guys have been in the game for quite some time and have compiled a mass amount of flash cartoons that will have feeling every emotion possible. Here are a couple of cartoons that I found to be cool, sad, and funny. Enjoy!

(I had to take out the vid for this one because it automatically plays. It became annoying after awhile.)

Get ready for the Future

I have to give it up to the creator of this Flash cartoon. By far one of the most imaginative ones I've seen in my day. The title of this Flash cartoon is "Future." I should say it's more of a music video with plenty of visuals that will have you begging for more. In other words, it tight!

Let's get into the video right away. Check this out. Get ready for a visual treat!By the way, according to the creator, this was made entirely in flash.

CSJH Fridays!

CSJH is great. I love this group. They are so quirky and fun. I guess it's because they remind me of a girl group I used to work with back in the day. Yes, your boy Bento BB used to produce music. I still do, but its more of a hobby for me than a career. Anyways, Check these clips out. They were the featured Artists for Star Watch. They are so goofy in this one! Enjoy enjoy!

Crystal Kay's Album is finally out!

Crystal Kay's album titled "All Yours" is finally out! I must say that I am not surprised. I mean this in a good way because when it comes to Crystal Kay's music I am never dissappointed. Her new album has an array of nice ballads and uptempo beats. If your a fan of Crystal Kay, you can expect the same vocal goodness she has brought to her many albums. If your new to the game, expect to be wowed by this beautiful and talented singer. By far, my favorite song is "Sugar Rain." This track carries the elements I love in music. It's hip hop, rnb, smooth, and rich with beautiful tones. Another track I'm feeling is "Last Kiss." The track is smooth and has lots of emotion.

Don't sleep on this album. Pick it up and support your Jpop artists. Don't have an outlet to the music? Here's a great blog to get you started on great Jpop and Kpop music. It so happens the name of the blog is Jpop n' Kpop. Here's the link

Commercials: Only in Japan prt.1

I have to say that I'm in love with Japanese commercials. At most times they are funny, quirky, imaginitive, and downright ridiculous! Check out these videos. You'll see what I mean.

I was bored. Here, make some music!

I decided to do something new today. I made a beat machine! Its not done. Granted, the interface sucks arse. As I'm creating this I'm thinking I've found my nitch in graphics. Design Interface! Alas, this is only a test and improvements will be made. Don't worry it will only get better! Enjoy!

It's Hype. Fashionable. Artsy. Totally FUN!

My boy came across this blog and I thought these guys were the shit.

The Brooklyn Circus.

I've never heard of this company. To my surprise, one of my friends from elementary is one of the heads that help run this business! Crazy crazy. Anyways this blog is full of art, design, fashion, and pics of the Brooklyn Circus in Japan. Tons of fun here. 1o out of 5 stars!

And here's a video of some Fashionably, Artsy, and musical peoples.

I'm partied out, but I can go for some club music

Greetings fellow bloggers. You know yesterday was actually the first time in a long time that I was REALLY able to see the stars. The night sky is so beautiful once you stop and look at what it has to offer.

Anyways, I just came back from a couple of parties. Its always fun getting together with family and friends. Great music sends great vibes. Speaking of which, here's a song that always gets me hyped.

Ya-Kyim- Hands Up

Ah, now that's club music!

Well, there's not much to say today. I'll be having some cool posts later on. Keep checking back. Oh, happy Father's day to all you fathers and future fathers! I send you the best of wishes to hardwork and strength. You're all appreciated.

Tasha Reid! or "T"

What's up folks. Bento here. Today I wanted to share with you another Korean singer by the name of Tasha Reid. Now you're saying "Reid." That's not Korean. You're half right my friend. She is half African American and Korean. Haha, she's just like Crystal Kay! Although I think Crystal Kay is better. Anyways, Tasha Ried has a beautiful singing voice. Here are a couple of videos of hers. Enjoy

As Time Goes By

What do you think? She definitely has a beautiful and soulful voice. And if your wondering, yes, she does speak english very well. I'm not too familiar with this artist but as always support Asian music, buy her album.

Welcome back to Bento Beat Boxing. Sorry to have kept you waiting! Over the past couple of months I couldn't decide what kind of theme and topics I wanted to post . There were so many so I decided to just blog about anything. Anything that pops into my mind it will be here. I hope you will enjoy your experience here at Bento Beat Box. Anyways, Let's get started!

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Korean Music. There are some groups that are ho-hum, but this group I'm about to introduce is phenomenal. They are called CSJH. These girls surprised me with their vocal prowess. I couldn't believe what was coming out of their mouths. Simply pure talent is what these girls have. Here are a couple of videos from them including a beautifully sung acapella. Check it out!

CSJH-I CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE (ACAPELLA)

These girls have talent! Such angelic and pronounced vocals. I bought their album "The Grace" and I have to say that I am not disappointed. They've met my expectations and then some. If you love ballads and want something with a little swagger, CSJH's album "The Grace" is the album to get.
